I believe everyone has the capacity for real change and transformation. Sometimes we just need a steady, compassionate hand to help guide the way forward.

At Progress Over Perfection, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your relationship with substances, mental health, and life challenges, without pressure for perfection.

I’m here to meet you exactly where you are and walk alongside you with authenticity, respect, and genuine support.

My Approach

Therapy here centers on building a genuine, trusting relationship where clients feel safe to show up exactly as they are.

A blend of evidence-based approaches, including person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and family systems work, is tailored to each client’s unique story and goals.

All work is guided by harm reduction principles and a trauma-informed perspective. The focus stays on understanding the whole person, not just one issue, so that lasting and realistic change can take root.

Sessions are collaborative, direct when helpful, and supportive when encouragement is needed. The client’s voice and experiences shape the direction of the work.

Who I Work With

I work with motivated individuals who are ready to make positive changes in their lives, even if they’re not sure exactly where to start.

Common areas I support include:

  • Substance Use & Recovery — harm reduction, moderation management, sobriety maintenance, and co-occurring mental health concerns

  • Teens & Young Adults (16+) — anxiety, self-esteem, identity development, relationships, and life transitions

  • Mental Health & Emotional Well-being — stress, self-worth, emotional regulation, and trauma-related challenges

  • Family & Loved Ones — support for partners, parents, and family members affected by someone else’s substance use

If you’re looking for a non-judgmental, trauma-informed space where progress matters more than perfection, you may be a great fit.
